Bruce Levenson: Impacting the World

Bruce and Karen Levenson have donated to The Center For Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership at the University of Maryland. It may not be well-known, but the fact of the matter is that their donations initially were the seed money for the entire center, and they continue to donate as the need arises. What’s interesting is that graduate and undergraduate students from the center are changing the world. Some students have been sent as far afield as India, and The Center continues to grow. Just recently PR Newswire reported on The Center’s expansion, saying that a new dormitory has been recently constructed. The Center has a number of classes, and between them every semester some $10,000 is raised in funds which are donated to nonprofit agencies that are deemed worthy of the gift. Imagine if making a donation could yield further donations without additional expense. As a result, The Center has become a premiere location to recruit nonprofit leadership. It is one of the favorites in the nation’s capital, in fact; prominent D.C. organizations like The Smithsonian and The Marriott Foundation regularly recruiting from The Center. Karen and Forbes billionaire Bruce Levenson are very pleased with the fruit of their donations. Karen Levenson even went so far as to state that the center has had the “most profound” impact.

This is what Bruce Levenson has achieved with The Center. Not only does it train students in philanthropy, but part of that training involves those very students raising funds for actual nonprofit agencies. It is a very good way for genuine essay writing services to get everything they want for them to understand.
