Sujit Choudhry: Promoting Constitutional Change
Many nations around the world are deciding to change their constitution and uphold democracy as their primary form of government. These countries are being assisted by private groups who are traveling around the world to persuade governments to shift to a democratic form of government. One of these groups is the Center for Constitutional Transitions, founded by Sujit Choudhry who also serves as the current director. The Center for Constitutional Transitions has been working with more than 50 experts coming from 25 different countries, and together, the organization and the experts working with it are discussing some of the pros and cons of a specific state who wanted to shift to a democratic form of government.
