Few figures in the American pipeline industry can claim a career arc quite like Kelcy Warren‘s. What began as a job at Lone Star Gas Co. after college eventually grew into Energy Transfer, one of the largest midstream companies in North America, built through a mix of organic expansion and aggressive acquisitions.

Warren’s path started in the rural East Texas towns of Gladewater and White Oak, far from the corporate deal rooms he would later come to dominate.
